He does beg for money.

In 1994, 55 percent of his contributions came from attorneys. His campaign raised $7 million in the 3rd quarter of 2007 and claims to have $12 million cash on hand. They claimed to soon have cash on hand after funds are matched. To give him credit, 70 percent of this quarter's fundraising total came from grassroots fundraising according to his public declarations (which candidates have to make). 97 percent of this quarter's contributions were in amounts of $250 or less, and less than 1% of contributions were in amounts of $1000 or more.

By all means, if you like him and would like to see him elected, since you cannot vote you can support him by contributing here:

I would much rather see Edwards elected than Hillary :o)

I wanted to add this (his list of biggest contributors):

>>>
>>>I think he did what he possibly could, just like John Edwards. I mean, you can get only so far saying things the corporate media don't want to hear. So you get to be the third candidate who gets a honorable mention after about 90 minutes of speaking of the top two, and when their soundbites were repeated at least six times.
>>>
>>>Which makes Kucinich (aka Kučinić) with Edwards the couple I'd like to see in the White house. They can toss a coin as to who gets to be vice.
>>
>>
>>I can't believe you like Edwards. He is even phonier than Romney.
>
>After Iowa, I waited for those 90 minutes and finally got to actually hear the guy. And I remember I marked him as worth listening to back in 2004 or so. Also, during the two or three minutes he had, I haven't heard any general soundbite that would raise a red flag.
>
>Phoney? Just because he doesn't have to go around beg for money like any honest politician should, right? You got something against the rich? :)
