Do you know if they have similar events? I have been living in the Windows world for a long time (apart from an abiding fondness for Macs) but wouldn't mind learning more about what's going on with open source. What I know about it now is pretty much squat.

I can't tell you what happens in other areas, but here we've begged the Open Source community to participate, but they refuse.
