What information is stored in debugger configuation files?

Usually I use my laptop with an attached monitor which has a lot more screen space. When travelling, of course, I just have the usual laptop monitor.

I had hoped that I could position the debugger windows differently and save their positions in configuation files. That doesn't seem to work.

OK, then, what does get saved in a configuration file?
