Hi Tamar,

Well, there's no doubt that the ladies in those days suffered from what we'd call male chauvinism. Like it or not, that was just the way things were. The Bible recorded things as they were.

Now, to assert that God is somehow flawed or that He wants things to be the way they are is what I object to. I see that as faulty logic and I do not see that taught anywhere in the Torah or Bible. Quite the contrary actually. Christianity flatly states that men and women are equal in God's eyes. (Galations 3:28)

Do religious organizations or individuals inside those organizations still miss the point? Yep.

My failing a test doesn't necessarily make the test bad - that's the logical error folks make here. The test is certainly open to be examnined, and should be, but the conclusions folks draw strike me as being poorly reasoned.
