Can Sedna by any chance be installed/used on top of SP1 ??

SP2 is no-go for meny people meaning that whole Sedna idea/effort might be badly affected (if not rocketed down) by low acceptance of SP2. This is just unfair.

What is the point in releasing Sedna, if SP2 end up being totally useless ?
