>At least you can comfort yourself with the view. The movie Open Range sure depicts it as beautiful. Is it that much colder than the rockies in Colorado and Montana? Colorado is so dry and warm from the sun at that altitude that you don't notice the cold as much as I did in Wisconsin where it is a damp cold.
