  • The version of Google used. For example, when I type www.google.com, I automatically get redirected to www.google.com.bo. "bo" is the country code for Bolivia. Search results favor Spanish-language sites.

Yes, you can do one of the following:
  • After Google Bolivia opens, click on "Google.com in English".
  • To avoid going to Google Bolivia in the first place, type www.google.com/ncr
  • In Opera, type the search term in the search textbox, in the toolbar. This is what I usually do anyway, since it is the fastest. Or, the letter "g" followed by the search term, in the address bar. However, I just tested, and this doesn't work in FireFox - it still takes me to Google Bolivia.
