I know you didn't say that... I made the change as suggested and I still see output to the screen. I was just wondering if the problem was happening due to me using the sys(3092) function.
What I did to my code:
In the load event I added sys(3054,12,'test') instead of sys(3054,1)
I still had output to the screen.
