I would use the click and create a button property that toggles whether it is down/up.

Also, to get some cool affects, create your own images for the Picture property and use the MouseEnter and MouseLeave events to control which one displays. You can also tie those events to the GotFocus and LostFocus so it will work when tabbing through as well.
