There could be several reasons why nothing has been said. I have no knowledge as to why, only speculating here...

- Higher ups have told them to say nothing
- They are trying to secure funding to fix the problems. In the mean time they don't want to say anything that may imply a fix could come when it won't
- Microsoft has already said SP2 will be it and they are sticking to it (in which case I wish they would say that)
- There is no team left, as they've all gone on to other things and Milind's last resposibility was to announce Sedna release.

There could be more reasons, these are what I thought of. Whatever the reason, MS is very much aware of SP2 problems.

>Melind signs the letters and is the public front man for MS. Milind's letter could have at least acknowledged that they are aware of the issues with sp2. Not a peep!

>I've just about given up hope for a fix to sp2, but I would put money on it that If we don't say something right away and in a large enough force, then we have what we're going to get. A practically worthless sp2.
