I hear ya'. I'd like to see them fixed too...but there is going to be a risk if they crack the code. It seems obvious they are not as dedicated to releasing a polished product as they have been in the past. From what I understand all the VFP9 testers are gone. Chances are you are going to introduce a new issue somewhere else if you modify any code. So you are going to need to do a full regression test. I doubt if that would be done and if they did one, what would the quality of it be? I doubt they would even initiate a beta tester program. I just think the risk outweighs the benefits.

Suppose you had a truted shop to take your car too and the mechanic who serviced your car for years retires, and they replace him with a new guy who knows nothing about your car. If they screw up your car the next time you take it in, are you going to keep taking it back and forcing them to fix it because it's what they should do...even if it means you miss days of work and have hours of aggrivation and there is arisk they break something else while you are at their shop? At some point you say "forget it" and either put duct tape on it or go to another shop. My opinion is I would rather put duct tape on it for now until I find someone I can trust to do it right.
