I read something about converters the other day. It said they will be partially subsidized by the government and will cost about $50. IIRC these will be necessary for people whose TVs are not capable of receiving digital signals, which are the ones built more than 10 years or so ago.

I just remembered where you are located, and I believe that if weather conditions block satellite, you still can watch local tv with indoor rabbit ears, right?
