Colin, I do not know. I only generate 2d and 3d charts, graph, bar, etc, and have not tried anything fancier/more.demanding than that. You know, what I do when I need a product is buy the top 2 or 3 competing products and try them, then decide which is best for me. That may seem a bit odd; however, you know how some will view a product as "superior" while others find it "lacking". I do know that the graphics server manual is quite large compared to the flipper manual; perhaps that is a clue. I needed something that would generate simple graphs very quickly after using SQL to generate a cursor which I then fed directly into the flipper "window" for graphing.
Sounds like your needs are more intense so perhaps you should see if graphics server will do it; if so, stick with it.
