Thanks for responding to my posting.

I found my error earlier, and posted it, but apparently the UT forum seems to treat them as private messages. They aren't appearing here.

In any case, my error: the message that I was seeing (my Message no less) was not coming from the IF condtional statement, but from further down in the Init method. The INDEXSEEK was returning .T., and the conditional clause was in fact not being executed.

Dumb mistake on my part. I should have used the debugger BEFORE I posted it!!
