The only reason we have the Standard tier is for a couple more stations. I like their internet service. Was thinking of going with DirectTV for their basic package, which includes all the channels we are interested in, and keeping the internet with cable. Both companies swear they are the ones we should be with.

DirecTv is fine, if you are thinking of going to direcpc, and you have cable internet, don't go there. DirecPC is not as fast and they throttle your bandwidth, unless you want to pay a ton of money. Been there, done that. DirecPC is great if you are contrasting it against dialup. Otherwise, stay with cable.
