Sometimes when I type something like this:
* Some text
and then press ENTEr, the asterisk is automatically converted to a bullet. And sometimes it is not. I haven't been able to figure out any pattern in this. Any ideas, under what circumstances it is NOT converted, or how to avoid this problem?
It works correctly if I later select the paragraph and click on the "Bullet" icon.
Using Word 2003.
