>Ok, you made me look REAL close. It is increased white space in the detail band ONLY. The Title and Page Headers are fine. No grouping, no variables, nothing special whatsoever. Flat cursor in the data environment. Several fields do have some ALLTRIM(whatever) just for alignment purposes. I removed all formatting just in case - no help. I am stumped.

Are any of the fields marked as stretch with overflow? I'm just curious if this is a case of the text barely fitting on the line, but the VFP report writing thinking it has to wrap to a second line and it ends up wasting the space. I have seen that on some of my reports in 9.0.
