I'm wondering how many PCs and laptops are sold under this "buy now, because later you'd have to choose between Vista and Vista" soundbite. I know we bought one for exactly that reason - my wife's laptop.

I wonder whether this SaveTheXP thing is actually M$'s plan C - to silently give up on the Vista and show good hearing for the sound of grassroots. Meanwhile, Vista is just a scare tactic to sell more XP :).
