You got very wrong impression; It is not Sedna that is disaster.
People have problems with SP2 which is listed as requirement for Sedna. But from what I read here Sedna should work on top of SP1 as well.

Imho, there is more substance already added to VFP there then in an average VFP version :0)
That is just part of VFP future next to NET extender done by ETechnologia and Christof's Guineau project.

So personally I just worry about getting my stuff well done. VFP will be there for quiet some time ;)
