If the manufacturer supports it - I have a Visioneer Scanner attached to a computer in the office running NT4.0 w/SP3 - drivers for NT in the box and it works just fine.

I also have a CD-ROM burner that attaches through the printer port and have used it on several NT 4.0 machines and it has offered no problems.

The manufacturer MUST provide NT or 95/98 drivers that are compatible...
