I did try the command syntax you suggest (Al suggested it too). When the network functions, any syntax works; and when something does not work, no syntax works. I suspect (as Al correctly pointed several times) that firewall Comodo has to be "adjusted" to allow network traffic. This is what I am doing: experimenting with different settings.
