I didn't let the original question sink in. I was only thinking about using Stonefield to keep tables intact. My only experience with SDT was with a prior client who used DBFs at remote sites, and that SDT experience was very bad. If SDT is intact and the proper version/service release/etc and the metadata is correct, it would be helpful I'm sure.

I script any changes we've needed over the years (we are almost 100% SQL server data with all our clients). It's not hard unless you are making drastic changes.
