>Could someone enlighten me in a general way as to the differences / implications of these two methods? I have used CursorSetProp in the past - the idea being just a pretty simple form and to allow either TableUpdate() or TableRevert(). Does it make a difference whether the form is based on a single table, or on parent AND child tables?

BufferMode is the form default. Changing buffermode after the form is instanciated and the tables are opened will not change any of the tables buffermodes. To change buffering after the table is open, use CURSORSETPROP.
