>Are you saying that AK is not a notorious UT detractor? Certainly he makes no secret of it, so why is it "bias" to point it out? IMHO it was entirely improper to involve UT at all.

I'm not saying that. I'm saying that you seem to have your mind made up about the matter. If he doesn't like the UT, then hey, he doesn't like it.

>Do you honestly think they made up the whole first guess thing just to try to place the blame against UT?

>IMHO some of the claims re IP addresses were a stretch, highly circumstantial until the culprit admitted it. Whereas raiding UT for passwords was an opportunistic and unsubstantiated speculation IMHO, supported only by the assertion that the password was guessed first time. If you want to look for bias, try uncritical acceptance of the "first time" claim combined with insinuation of UT insecurity.

You can choose not to believe the stats they compiled, but I do. I believe the password was "guessed" the first time, which was admitted by Naomi. I believe it wasn't such a big jump to make an assumption of how she was able to "guess" it the first time. I think the explanations made sense, and I would have jumped to the same conclusion. I wouldn't have handled it the same way, though.

Anyway, have a good weekend JR!
