I hope my comments were not interpreted by you as an attack on non-paying subscribers. I think a lot of you provide valuable contributions to the UT and the fees would cause a financial hardship. I don't have a problem with that.

Now, if 100 people would sign a poll that they would become PUTM if John were allowed to return, this might positively influence Michael:)

Of course, we would also have to know how many PUTM's would unsubscribe for the same reason:)

This discussion/thread is so silly, I think I'll go back to my job solving client problems.

>I would be delighted to pay for premium services except that I am on a pension. My total annual income is $9840.00 so every penny I get goes to feed my wife and I and to pay municipal taxes.

>>WOW, 20 people!
>>
>>Since I subscribed to the UT in 1996 there have been over 20,000 new subscribers come and go.
>>
>>How many are still active? Who knows.....but I'll bet it's a wee bit more than your 20 participants in this poll.
>>
>>If I were Michael, I would need hundreds of participants and I would only pay attention to those that were PAID subscribers, because those are the ones I wouldn't want to lose.
>>
>>Most of us are here for technical reasons and don't care to get involved in the personal attacks and childish things that occur here on a daily basis.
>>
>>There is a large silent majority of us that do vote with our subscription fee. So, yes, I do believe Doug.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>>We have about 20 people who have officially replied right now, and the 'yes' votes outnumber the 'no' votes by about a factor of four. That's a large majority.
>>>
>>>Where are all these people who would represent the 'tens of thousands' of dollars' that Doug Hennig mentioned?
