That is a conclusion kevin has to draw or reject himself. The statement I gave to him was not 'complex' in the world of SQL programmers. If he finds it complex then the conclusion is??

BTW this was referring to a discussing that was quite interesting because it outlined the difference between record oriented and set oriented and the blurred border between them. I was outlining that some things are better solved in a record oriented way than a set oriented. But of course this against the holy grail of SQL. The record oriented solution was very simple and straightforward while the SQL one requires a lot more creativity.
