>>>I think Grady has just gone overboard with his rule, which may be a honest attempt to prove that the rule was wrong to start with. He probably meant to remove any emotional outbursts that may deurinate other people, but what the know, let's remove emotion completely just in case. And it's the case of kid gone with bathwater.

>OK, then it's a method - and then I do apply it quite often. You can't possibly know how many messages I wrote but then did not click Send. Or when I did, how many sentences did I edit out.

>Just saying that I'd rather stick to the ancient Greek rule, which I learned as "ničega previše" - of nothing too much, or better, "never too much of anything". If I'd write completely emotion-free messages, I'd better write some code to do that for me, eh? Or completely stop writing here, because the wish to help myself and others write better code is a tad too emotional.
