I was minded to say yes but having read Doug Hennigs comments I can see why Michel took the action he did and I say no.

Well, Doug's comments sound more like "whisper down the mountain"...if people indeed dropped their PUTM and 'disappeared', I think they did so for reasons other than JVP.

I'll say this...I haven't had to pay for PUTM since I became an MVP. If that weren't the case, Michel's decision to ban John would certainly impact whether I'd pay for PUTM out of my own pocket. So it goes both ways....

When Michel banned JVP back in Sept 2004, he told me that the famous five "sensitive" messages from JVP were more than enough. I had several email exchanges with Michel, and not once did he mention financial loss as a reason.

You and Doug can believe whatever you wish - I still have a hard time believing it was ever tre....and certainly DON'T believe it would be true today.
