You got that right. The physio woman told me she did some research on bilateral complete ruptures and could only find 60 cases. I didn't ask how many of those also had a broken ankle. But I like to think I'm in some sort of elite company now.
I don't honestly know how it happened. My knees buckled because my foot stuck or something on the stair, and when they buckled, I heard popping and snapping. Next thing I knew I was on the floor and couldn't use my legs.
