Hey Naomi.

I also started with SVN. I even bought the Visual SVN too, which integrates into Visual Studio. But it was a bit complicated to configure it, and I tried to set up an Apache Server for it, and, I mean, it wasn't at all into my comfort zone of knowledge... :)

With Vault, it was plug and play. While SVN has a File System repository, Vault uses SQLServer, another point in favour, in my opinion. Well, it is not free though, at least not for more than 1 user.
