Yes, my dad tried to be a hero when he got his hip replaced. He ended up taking a late night ambulance ride to the ER to get it popped back in after he fell.I think you get my point. An experienced physio has many tricks to thrash along an unwilling/fearful patient. But she has reason to be afraid of the hero who tries to "progress" faster when she's not there. ;-)
