Yep, that looks familiar, though the letters ussually are baked arround 'Sinterklaas' on december the 5th... BTW, it is no conincedence that it sounds like 'Santa Claus' The dutch (and brittish?) probably took it to the US some centuries ago. It comes from saint niclas (sint nicolaas).

The cookies are tradiational dutch 'Speculaas'
