I have put checks between the select and the index statements and it happens during the INDEX ON Statement.



>I'm guessing that it is failing on your "SELECT ... INTO CURSOR..." call. If it was failing on your "INDEX..." command the file name in the error would have a CDX extension.

>Are you sure the RecordSource is always READWRITE before coming into this routine? Could it be open in another workarea? Have you tried changing the name of the ReocrdSource instead or SELECTing into the same name?
