I use a local wiki for this. It keeps track of more than notes in a help file. There are several free wiki tools.

>Many years ago I remember software packages that allowed the user to annotate the Help documentation so you could add your own notes of explanation to a subject. Perhaps even VFP 2.6 did this I don't remember. But alas, this feature seems to have disappeared from modern software. Does anyone have a good system for keeping track of additional insight and understanding that is aquired from places like UT so its easy to go back and look up in the future?
