Have you Canadian seen the video already? Or is it not an issue in Canada? I think it's mainly a Dutch/American issue.

The lawyers who say this video is insufficent claim that in this case additional evidence is required because a conviction based on a 'confession' alone is not enough. Other lawyers claim that in this case there's already enough additional evidence.

For me, the supposed fact that a 'confession' alone is apparently not enough is IMO an alarming interpretation of our law.

In the U.S., after having aired such a video, it would be totally impossible to select people for a jury.
