I don't see why they didn't just make them flow right into the current IDE without having customize menus or running them from the command line. Just let the intaller put them where they need to go, and use the same names as the old tools. Who would want to preserve the old tools anyway?

One more thing, if you have IntelliSense turned on you can put DX (spacebar) in the Command Window to run the DataExplorer in the root folder. You can also change the IntelliSense entry to run the one in the Sedna folder too, or create another one like DX2.
