I left work early yesterday, about 4:30. When I got home, the siren were already starting. My cat came running in, crying about it. I think he blames me for the weather. Watching the weather station on TV I could not believe it was so close. Looking outside my front window, I could just see the top of the funnel. It was at that point I grab Tiger and move to the safest point in my home. There I stayed until the power came back on and the news gave the all clear sign. This last week has been a living hell on me. Between this and my wife passing away, it has all I can do to keep it together. But I guess one must carry on.
