Check XMLUpdateGram() and XMLTable.ApplyDiffGram methods. I used a variation of those successfully to backup and restore tables chronologically to a given time.

PS: Variation was about generating a compacter and faster version of updategram. However it was much harder to code. Just using XMLUpdateGram() should be sufficient.
