Yeah, Jeff was voluble about his belief that MS intended to gut VFP. At first I held out hope because the VFP3 beta program seemed robust, energetic and enthusiastic. But once we saw the VFP3 "marketing" it did seem clear. Sigler even told us that attention was turned firmly away from VFP. That was 1995-1996. Then prophets appeared "predicting" the end of VFP and claiming a monopoly on the idea. It only took 12 years for their prediction to come true! Ah, those were the days. ;-)
