There are a number of products on the market for creating test/sample data. These three have free trial versions:

Advanced Data Generator -- www.upscene.com
DTM Data Generator -- www.sqledit.com
GS Data Generator -- www.gsapps.com

Of the three, I like the results and the flexibility of GS best, but it's also the most expensive (starts at $595).
