Not to mention our moral responsibility to ensure Iraqi security is ready to take over first. Whether or not we should have, we did create this mess and we owe it to the Iraqi people to help them clean it up. It's in our best interests both morally and politically and for national security to do so. When their government or their people (a mass majority) ask us to leave, then we leave.
>I totally agree with you. While the Iraqi military has taken over security in several areas of the country, handling internal security is very different than dealing with invading forces from somewhere else, say Iran. We alreay know that Saddam lied about WMDs to keep Iran from invading.
