I like a time table, it set expectations so there are no surprises. The Iraqi government can plan accordingly. It gives a concrete measure of success or failure. Sure, it would need to be adjusted as things change but having a goal does not sound like such a terrible thing.
Beyond that, if you see Islam as the enemy it is now clear why you see Iraq as part of those who attacked us. It explains a lot and hopefully it is not a wide spread belief amoung others here.
