Two points about superdelegates. One is they are not pledged to anyone. They can and do change their minds. The other is that most, if not all, of them are party insiders such as governors and legislators. For these reasons I find, as an Obama supporter, encouragement in the fact that Hillary currently has an estimated 80-90 more superdelegates. It's well known that she has had the party apparatus behind her from the start because she was the presumptive nominee. As Obama continues to show that he is a legitimate contender, neck and neck in the pledged delegate count, that support may weaken.
