Hi All

I need to use DDE to allow a user to get data from our database into Excel. I have created a DDE server to listen and respond to requests. I can create a DDE link in a spreadsheet in Excel and our server returns the data. So far, so good. But if I create another DDE link in the same spreadsheet then I get an INITIATE and an ADVISE instruction coming through for both DDE links but only a single REQUEST instruction for the first link. The second link generates no REQUEST instruction to our server and the Excel cell contents change to "#N/A". Does anyone have any ideas about why this is so?

PS. Yes I must use DDE.
