Naomi,

>I believe that being twitted and knowing about it is one of the most humiliating and torturing experience the person can be put through.

One of the most important lessons I've learned in my life is that if someone does not want me around or does not want to speak with or listen to me, I'm better off letting that person go. I've been divorced twice, and learned that lesson the hard way. I've now been married to my 3rd husband for 18 years. We have both agreed that we are married by choice, and stay married by choice.

Believe me, it can be tough if you dwell on the idea that someone does not like or respect you. Obviously you are sensitive to what people think of you, and you want to resolve whatever problems they have so you can feel liked again.

Unfortunately, there will never be a person that everyone universally likes. Even Jesus was crucified, so who are we to think everyone will like us? When you can tell yourself that others' opinion of you is not what you use to feel good about yourself, you'll feel better every day of your life. Go where you are wanted. Talk to people that like you. Avoid people you do not like, or that are trying to avoid you.

Life is so much sweeter when you surround yourself with people that like and respect you, and ignore everyone else.

IOW, who cares if someone uses a twit filter on you or me or anyone else? If they aren't interested, so be it.
