I can see your point. I recently upgraded my 4 yr old desktop to its maximum 1 GB. If you are right then I could not tell if the client goofed with the RAM or not. But for now limiting the sys(3050) memory works. However I had clients with brand new PCs with the problem - so RAM goof seems less likely.
