Followup on my first "setfocus" question...

I'm trying to run the .Click() method of a button which has a .SetFocus in it from a text box. I originally had my cmdCancel.Click() in the valid of the text box and got the error about can't do a setfocus in a valid. So, then i put it in the LostFocus() of the text box and I still get that error???
