I have a base class that contains a list(of string) .
I also have a custom builder that adds strings to this list at design time.

I can create a new class from the base class and when I use my builder it will add items to the list(of String) but when the new class is closed in the designer the new list items are lost. How can I persist these items after I add them in the builder?
