Possibly, or maybe the problem would become small enough that the remaining cases could be solved with the help of whichever human resources would now be freed.

I somehow see the situation with most of the problems uprooted easier to deal with, than the one where we give up in advance because another problem would rise instead.

Besides, I've lived this. Still do. If it were for religion, my kids would never come to be. My wife would have been a Catholic and I would have been an Orthodox and that line can sometimes cut deeper than between any other two Christian religions. And, oh, we're also not from the same culture - that'd be an obstacle too.

Good that in those damn communist times nobody gave a chicken's stool about either religion or nation.
