I know that it's not that straightforward. To get the full "object path" you need to also check the Parent column and maybe add that value to the object name. As for commandgroups and optiongroups, you just have to recognize those in code and look for the command and option definitions within the propeties column....it's not easy but it can be done.

Also in objname field you only get optiongroup1 or commandgroup1 but it does not include the buttons like option1 or command1 within optiongroup or commandgroup. Same is the problem with the containers. And again there is no property called caption for commandgroup or optiongroup . what i need is the buttons within them. The caption is stored in the memo field named properties with lots of other stuff also. how do i only get the caption?
